When Orchard Meadow School were having problems with water ingress through the flat roof areas Oxford County Council approached S & J Roofing who advised them that a flat to pitch roof conversion would be both a practical long term solution to the problem and an aesthetically pleasing finish. A light weight ASHJACK frame was assembled over the existing roof which provided a suitable base for metal tile sheets to be fixed. All rainwater is now shed to the outside of the building to be collected by new external eaves gutters.
