The Royal School wanted a striking design with their new library building and that is what they got with roofs curved in four different planes. The roof was a factory curved secret fixed roof sheet over perforated structural decking sheets, including acoustic insulation. The contract also included polyester powder coated gutters and rainwater pipes. This complex project was completed on time and with a high degree of workmanship, which led to smiles all around when the library was opened by Her Majesty the Queen.
