We specialise in GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) flat roofing. GRP is a fibre-glass layered system that provides the best possible solution for weather-proofing a flat roof. It can be finished in a number of different colours if required. It differs from traditional systems in that there are no seams where water could penetrate.
Firstly, a the substrate is made using plywood, sealed together with fire-glass tape. Secondly, the fibre-glass layer is applied similar to painting. The next layer is the top coat which provides the outer appearance of the roof. Optionally, a non-slip layer (aggregate) may be applied if the surface is to be walked on.
